Travise Billups

Mr. Billups graduated from Elizabeth City State University with a bachelor's degree in communications. He also holds a master's degree in special education from George Mason University and a certificate of educational leadership from Longwood University.

Mr. Billups has previously served as an assistant principal at Caroline High School in Caroline County Public Schools and Yvonne B. Miller High School. He started his leadership journey as a dean of students in Richmond Public Schools. Before that he was a special education teacher in Henrico County Public Schools at James River Juvenile Detention Center and the Virginia Randolph Education Center. He started his career as a substitute in Fairfax County Public Schools prior to becoming an instructional assistant at a private day school while pursuing his master's degree. Mr. Billups enjoys attending sporting events and spending time with his family in his spare time. He is excited to join the Patrick Henry staff and community!
